What the numbers mean
Gaming #1 connects directly to Germany or the Netherlands. ACN Gaming #2 and #3 use a multi-hop path through an entry node and bridge, with different transport settings.
All of these options use Hysteria 2. Your app must support the relevant mode; seeing regular locations in the client does not confirm support for gaming options.
Why results vary
The transport uses UDP. Your carrier or local network may restrict this traffic. If a gaming option will not connect, try a regular location or ACN with another transport.
The protocol itself cannot shorten the distance to a game server. Latency depends on geography, carrier routing, load and the game server.
How to compare
Test the same game, server and network: first without an extra connection, then with a regular location and a gaming option. Look at latency and packet loss inside the game.
Do not judge by a single HTTP ping in the list. For voice and video calls, assess the actual call quality as well as the number shown in the client.
